St. Luke United Methodist Church
 Adult Sunday School Classes C.I.H.U. C.I.H.U. means "Can I Help You". While the CIHU class is the "Senior" group at St. Luke, anyone, any age is welcome. There are seven teachers who are well qualified and interesting. Each teacher has a different way of presenting a lesson. CIHU still likes to party and is a friendly, caring group who try to live up to their name by taking care of each other and others. CIHU gives to Meals for the Elderly and ministers to local assisted living facilities and nursing homes throughout the year. CIHU meets in Rooms 1 & 2 of the Multi-Purpose building. Sunday Mornings 9:50 a.m.-10:45 a.m. Current Study: "Adult Bible Studies Winter 2016" DISCIPLESHIP Discipleship is a class of senior adults who engage in a variety of study topics that include, but are not limited to, Lenten & Advent Lessons, Bible studies, contemporary social issues relating to Christian faith and personal faith concerns. The group takes an active part in the life of the congregation, supporting its various ministries. The class embraces the UMC philosophy of "open hearts, open minds & open doors". You are welcome to join us each Sunday in Room 3 of the Multi-Purpose building. Sunday Mornings 9:50 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Current Study: "When Jesus Came to Harvard: Making Moral Choices Today" by Harvey Cox COMMON GROUND Common Ground is just that-- a class made up of a wide variety of ages, couples & singles. The class is very supportive of one another and is a warm and friendly group. Past studies have focused on the teachings of Rick Warren and Philip Yancey. This class meets in the Room 9 in the Education building. Sunday Mornings 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Current Study: "War Room Bible Study" TRIPLE AAA's Triple AAA's are an "All Ages of Adults" class interested in lively discussions on a wide variety of topics related to Christian Faith. All viewpoints are welcome as we search together to increase our personal understanding of God. The AAA's are actively involved in many service and mission projects and meet in Room 5 of the Education Building. Sunday Mornings 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Current Study: "The Call" by Adam Hamilton UNPLUGGED Unplugged is a Sunday fellowship class that meets in Skeete Hall. If your schedule doesn't allow you to come every week and you don't like long term studies or feel intimidated about walking into an already established class, then this is the place for you! We have music, goodies and prayer time each week.
